“Gheorghe Lazar” Highschool is the only school in the village of Pecica, which is a small but a modern town near the city of Arad. The area is known for its agriculture, the maintenance of old traditions and preserve cultural diversity (Romanian, Hungarian, Serbian, German, Slovak and Roma). In our school there are more than 1,000 students aged 6 to 19 years. Part of the high school students attend classes Profile mathematical and computer sciences, other classes of linguistically and others are learning about the timber industry. Students come from Pecica and nearby villages.
