Earth Hour is a global movement bringing millions across the world together to call for greater action on climate change. Each year, hundreds of millions of people around the world switch off their lights and organise events – at home, in their community or in their towns or cities – to show their care about the future of our planet.

Since 2008, numerous landmarks such as Bosphorus bridges, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia across Turkey turned off their lights in order to raise awareness on climate change. Also, hundreds of company premises and homes will participate in Earth Hour.

This year, on 19 March 2016, Saturday, 20:30, we also turned off the lights to make our future bright. Our students celebrated this important event by playing the guitar and singing songs.
